Er, sorry to bother you with more images! I have this bad hobby of
posting them as I'm done with them, and I rarely "cook" more than one
image in a given day :-/ I only have two more to go from CalStar so
don't worry too much :-)
Anyway, a friend of mine suggested I build a mosaic with the Orion's
belt image I took at Calstar this year and the Horsehead+M42 I took last
winter. Both images are considerably different, but I decided to try it
just to see how it'd look. In the resulting mosaic IMHO the area of the
belt loses some charm compared to the individual image, but the whole
field is so impressive I thought some of you might like to see it. It
has a panorama/landscape feeling to it I think it's kind of nice.
Here's a smaller version:

And here a big one:

Hope you enjoy it!

-- PS: Last I heard, as long as we don't engage in "imager's talk" it's ok to send images to the list (anyone interested in the details, you can always email me), but if anyone feels I should slow down in the number of images submitted to TAC please let me know. If you're ok you don't need to say anything :-) --- TAC mailing list - to join, manage, or leave: http://nine.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/tacReceived on Wed Sep 23 18:57:29 2009
