Itıs the first known representation of the Andromeda Nebula or Galaxy
(marked with the letter "A") by Persian astronomer Abd-al-Rahman Al Sufi in
his "Book of Fixed Stars" of 964 A.D. He called it the "Little Cloud".

This drawing well precedes Flamsteed, but yes, the "A" does represent "The
Little Cloud" the
Andromeda "Nebula" (Galaxy). So, in 964 AD, who did the drawing?
