This reminds me of something that happened to me one evening at San Luis
reservoir. It was just beginning to get dark and the stars had just started to
appear. I looked up and two stars, one slowly moving past the other - a
satellite. A second after this I saw a second star, moving in the same
direction and speed. Some of the NOSS satellites go in pairs or a triplets, and
I thought it is a lucky coincidence to see one by chance. Then I saw another
TWO stars, all moving in the same direction!

I was totally puzzled - I've never seen anything even remotely like this before!
It was like the sky was full with satellites, all going in the same direction.

You have probably guessed it by now - the single "star" was a satellite, and all
the "satellites" were stars. Looking straight up without a telescope it was
hard to tell what was moving and what was stationary. :-)
