I agree with all of the XT10 advice 100%, Orion makes a fine scope
and 10" gets you deep into the Pocket Sky atlas. Also breaks apart those
nasty globs very well;-) If you can, get the "First base" that others have
mentioned, Mike Delaney's is wonderful and for a fast set up it can't be
beat! If you can afford to add the intelliscope feature, your rolling! Its
neat to observe right up until that last observer has loaded his/her car
then you just toss it across the back seat and drive off. Collimation takes
a minute but they maintain collimation very well during travel. The Meade
light bridge is also an option but its very heavy for its size. I'll
take and XT12 please ;-)
