Darren,

I bought 1 from Radio Shack yesterday $50 its rated at 5mW, I checked it out
form my house under a glowing sky and it seems plenty bright enough I had no
problems seeing the beam, even off axis. And the build quality seems pretty
good it feels solid and hefty in your hand even without the 2 AAA batteries
installed. looks like stainless with a rubberized forward grip and comes in
a tin case with a form fitted foam cushion. Overall I think its a good
value and performer.
