Just change the question mark to an exclamation point and you'll have it.
And if I were a better person I wouldn't say that. Along with the
Peak, reports from Bonny Doon were about a dark clear sky. It's good
to get around.
I wasn't observing with a scope yet when Pinatubo blew. But I do know
there are scraps left of that eruption in northern Ophiuchus, forming
the asterism of the Bull of Pinatubo, around beta Oph, where
Barnard's Star is.
But I sure do remember that dust storms in the Gobi what was it like
6 years ago? We had swaths of dust moving across the sky for days.
Remember one night at Coe where it really was part of the
entertainment. The Gobi is a frackin long way from here, after all.
