Whooho!! sounds like it will be a great time. I may have to try it out.
Will there be scopes too or should I bring my own ? ;-)

I see the smiley face, and I know you are just kidding, but the simple
fact is that over the years I have attended lots of star parties without
bringing a telescope, most recently last year's TSP. I wander around the
observing field making new friends and garnering lots of eyepiece time
along the way, do some teaching and some learning, and always have a
great time.
Amateur astronomers as a whole might be the friendliest bunch of people
you will ever meet. Whether you own a large or small telescope, if you
attend star parties, you had better enjoy the visitations of friends and
strangers alike, because you will get plenty of traffic and requests.
Personally, it really floats my boat, it's like every night is a public
night.
If anyone is new to the hobby, and they are uncertain about just what
telescope to buy, or if they are uncertain as to whether they want to
buy one at all just yet, well, remember that you don't really need a
telescope to attend and enjoy a star party. Just bring your enthusiasm
and your sparkling personality, and enjoy the show.
