Anyone observing tonight?

I know that most of the weather reports look sukky (that's a technical
term). However, I don't think the satellite pictures are so easily
fooled. Take a look at

Pretty good hole open right now over the ocean to our West, from SF to
Monterey bay. There's a small band of crud coming in after that, and
then another, larger, hole before more major bad stuff shows up.

Anyone thinking about a possibly short trip to Coyote Lake or
Montebello tonight? (I know the moon is also getting rather large.)
I'm on the fence.
