  It's quite a trick to stitch together terabytes of Hubble photographs, and Google with their mega-machine farm didn't yet succeed at making a clean version. Now Microsoft at their heels with WWT... here's the story

  Supposedly going online this spring.
   
  Given that Microsoft's previous mega-imaging projects like HDView and Virtual Earth work relatively well, and are quite "pretty", it should be quite promising.
