This may be slightly off-topic, but you should know that Fry's Computers won't honor its extended warranty on giving you a loaner replacement laptop if you do like I did. I painted over my laptop's blue LEDs with red fingernail polish, since I often use it as support for my astronomy viewing sessions.
Fry's policy claims this is physical damage to the laptop, and they won't give out a loaner laptop. I asked to talk to the supervisor, whom I've dealt with before, and he was more than reasonable during my previous visit. But he and his supervisor both cited Fry's policy in denying me a loaner laptop. I thought I should warn you all about this unreasonable policy before you spend money on an extended warranty for equipment you might use for astronomy.
