I had some white enameled masonite wallboard left over from building
carrying cases for a couple of Tak refractors, so I made a 4-sided hood I
set on a card-table with internal, selectable red/white, LED illumination
for star maps. It keeps them dry, and folds into a flat pack with Velcro
fastening to keep it either open or folded.
