I built a chart box that will hold an opened volume of Millennium
flat under a lexan sheet, protected from wind and dew, with the
other two volumes closed under it. It will also hold smaller
atlases. The box is arranged so that the lexan surface has a
rim around it, so flashlights, eyepieces, and other observing
paraphernalia can be set there without rolling off.

I thought it might be fun to have an ATM/Gadget discussion.? Other
than a telescope, what have you built to aid or improve your night out
observing?
