I guess, more important for Maja mythologies, than for planetary science.
How accurately Mayans were able to predict thousands years into the
future the equinoxes and precession, using different numbering system 20
and 13.
For example,Mayan calender used for Solar, 20 days x 18 moths +5
days/year

1) All the planets are always up in the sky. What is special about that
day?

2) The Sun rises at the place every Dec 12. What is special about this one?

3) The Earth's precession is a continuous cycle. Like a circle, it has no
beginning or end.
