Armed with my PST

    I just went out to check on Sol, see what's going on. There is a little
spur on the Southern end that's not too interesting and some prominences on
the face. No biggie.. One the Northern limb however, there is a funnel
shaped prominence that almost appears volcano like! It fans out into space
equally on both sides. The N-E edge of the prominence has a straight and
well defined edge that makes for an interesting site. If you have a solar
rig handy ( you should if you don't;-) it may be worth your while to pop
outside for a quick look-see.
