Yup. I've noticed somewhat decent skies from Sunnyvale as well for the
last couple of days. Still hazy, but I'm sure that can be beaten just by
getting above 2000 feet.
I tried some HA imaging last night from my backyard but the marine layer
kicked in before 11pm, of course :-(
Just waiting for the moon to start showing up a bit later every day
until is worth going out somewhere...
Besides Northern California, the area of LSA is reportedly to be very
smoky from the Basin Complex fire @ Big Sur though. Hope they can take
care of that fire soon. Estimated containment date is July 31st. Over
123,000 acres burnt already. Besides how the smoke affects our hobby
it's really sad to see so much land being devastated by fires.
