Using the Google Earth imagery and zooming in, this park has a areas clear
of any trees and these locations look as if they are far enough east of the
parkšs apartment rentals and Hiway 1. The only question is what kind of
horizons are at these locations in this valley. The southern horizon might
be 10-15 degrees up because Hiway 1 rises a few hundred feet as it passes b=
y
the park southbound by Post Ranch Inn and Nepenthe Restaurant.

I've camped there several times over the years, beautiful spot. So I'm
definitely in, esp as it's an easy drive for me as well as you, Peter. Lots
of big trees in that park, and it's along a little creek valley, so I wanna
see this clearing.
