I was in the parking lot behind the Oxford Suites in Chico fending off the
cops even though the telescope was pointed AWAY from the Hotel. They both
enjoyed the view after a slight explanation. It was soft and the seeing
didn't support more than 150 power in my little 80mm Stellarvue. I saw some
slight detail on the planet that came and went with the conditions, but
couldn't resolve either of the polar caps.

Darn. I was feeling bad about not venturing up, but now maybe not so much.
That's just about how I'd describe it from the back yard. For a while it
was quite good, but for other whiles it was pretty soft.
