Hmmm...

Top: 4" f 15 Vixen achromat [can't afford AP or TMB; lust after 6" f 12 AP,
though!]
Top: 8.5" f 12.5 Flying Dragon achromat. Purchased through John Hopper at
AstroBuffet.com, otherwise I'd have been at the mercy of a supplier of an
*imperfect* reputation.
Top: Meade 10" f 6.3 SCT. Excellent optics, tempered by the below reference.
Top: Vixen, again, 90 mm. f 11 achromat. In combo with Coronado 60 mm.
h-alpha filter, a very nice setup.
Coronado 60 mm. filter with BF 15 blocking filter. Most fun with clothes on.
And sunblock lotion.
And,
Maybe Not So Top Dogs:
Bob's Knobs for Meade SCT. Threads a loose enough fit to cause problems with
holding collimation.
REALLY NOT Top Dog: Orion SpaceProbe 130, not the short tube. How can I say
enough about this bottom dog? Spherical mirror at f 6.9. When I complained to
Customer Service I was told it was diffraction limited! This was a present
for my son.
Every finder I know of: why aren't the bases adjustable, so you can use the
same finder on several scopes? [I think I really know the answer...]
Orion MegaVista EP f 10.5. Poor light transmission in any scope. The 16.8
mm, however is a Top Dog!
