I somehow don't think Rigel OEM'ed it out to Orion. When I saw the owner
of Rigel (originator of that flashlight design) at RTMC a few years ago, he
didn't seem all to happy about it.
I've often wondered what the draw is, really, to the square body design on
that flashlight? Does it make it easier to hold in your mouth? If that
were the case, then yes, a sealed unit would be a better idea. Maybe its
so it doesn't roll of an observing table in the dark...
