I have decided to sell my 8 inch f4 SN (schmidt newtonian). It is a Meade
with UHTC (the fancy) coatings.
It has the Paul Lefevre mod with the clips removed and RTV under the
primary mirror. Holds collimation a bunch better. Some teflon tape on
the focuser has reduced the slop to a managable amount.
Comes with Padded Rubbermaid case with a custom tray, one of Mark Wagners
very nice Dew Shields, 9 x 50 finder and the stock adapters for the end of
the focuser (1 1/4, 2 inch, T mount, extension)
It works fine but I have decided to get something smaller like a 3 or 4
inch refractor so the mount I use under it is not for sale.
