I am late replying. Like Peter S. my 'real life' has pushed this wonderful
pursuit off the back burner and onto a warming plate. And I am 1100+ message
behind in TAC...
I really appreciate what Alvin is doing because I too love the real challenge
objects like the Abell Planetaries. But I disagree with Steve (who I truly
respect and admire, he is a giant amongst current observers). Do us (okay ME)
a favor Alvin and if you write an article or just send off your reports, send
a message to techno-elitists at S&T, send the article to Tom Clarke at
Amateur Astronomy Magazine.
No, you won't get paid. But IMO being paid by S&T is, well... never mind...
send the article to Tom. He'll appreciate it and publish it uncut.
