You can always get a motel room in town, it is only a few miles away. The
Shingletown observing site is guarded 24/7, so you can just leave your equipment
set up all the time. If you park at the near end you can easily sneak away
during the night and not bother anyone with you headlights.

I was thinking of camping on site but not sure if my older bones can
handle 5 nights observing on 5 nights of sleeping in a tent.
So I was looking at the possibility of renting an RV and driving it up
to, shall we say, Observe In Style!
