Hi Fellow TACos,
I will be going to my first ever Shingletown Star Party this year.
I was thinking of camping on site but not sure if my older bones can
handle 5 nights observing on 5 nights of sleeping in a tent.
So I was looking at the possibility of renting an RV and driving it up
to, shall we say, Observe In Style!
Cost of a 4 person RV for the 5 days will be about $850 + gas +
possible extra mileage (allowed 100mi/day). So somewhere around
$250-$275/person for the trip.
I was looking at www.cruiseamerica.com at their 4 person RV.
I live in Brisbane and would be willing to rent the RV and pick it up
and have everyone meet at my place. Brisbane is nice and centrally
located just south of San Francisco on 101 for those not familiar with
its location. There are good places to park and leave a car.
