It's 1:16am Monday morning and I just stepped in from the Sky Shed. This is my 6 consequetive clear night out of eight days so far. Really racking up the H-a images. Outside is a spectacular almost electric Milky Way overhead, criss-crossed by dark lanes from Crux through Scutum that appear suspended in front of a billion glowing stars - pastel blue - Clearest and most contrasty sky so far on the trip. About mag 6.5 visual. Sag will be at the zenith in about 2 hours.

No sleep here.

G'day mates,

- dvj

Relaxing and catching up on back issues of S&T when the skies are cloudy, before he goes back out for another all nighter.
