re. "One for the Zipper"
I LIKE the name Mt. Diablo, but y'know, maybe we ought to give the devil his
due.
I was thinking of proposing a replacement name for our grand local landmark
(unless there is some equally grand local trash heap). How about "Mt.
Messianic Moron", a collective honorific for the religious and political
xenophobes among us, who seem to be taking offense at every name in our earth and sky
that doesn't conform to their own vocabulary.
