that's the one I first saw but then consulted the web to refresh my memory of what the face actually looked like in Michelangelo's original work.

Yeah, I see a face; actually several faces (with the dark knots as 'eyes'). Aren't we hard-wired this way--to see competing, threatening fellow primates in the bushes? Sure, we don't have too many bushes any more, but we do have linoleum patterns, drapery patterns, not to mention competing primates on the roadways...
But, hey, I see a cross-legged Buddha beneath that bright star--you think I'm evolving? Or just a delusional, drug-crazed, new age, anti-khristian?
