well one way is to get Finger Lakes to make an astrocam from the sensor
I sort of got excited to see the sensor being available. it will only be a matter of time before it appears in an astrocam, mark my words.
i expect to see it offered by one of the major astrocam makers before the end of this year

rumor on the street is that it uses a kodak KAF type sensor with 9x9 micron pixels.
it has a 40gbyte storage in the camera and you can even use film (!) with it by adding the optional film back.
