Im sure as the time gets nearer, the event will get more specifically
defined.

The thing happens at mars so the time delay and it is only 1 or 2 AU away
so the delay is about 8 to 16 min. However, most of these events from
JPL take this into account and the time you see is the time it happens as
observable from earth. That is common practice.
