Phil:
I have a colleage at NASA Ames that has an unheard-of
sixteen (!) nights of observing time on the NASA
Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) in Hawaii to
monitor the comet before, during, and after the
impact. The Time Allocation Committee certainly
thinks there will be something to see.
