Hello,
Me and my family are planning a short trip next week (most probably
to San Diego). I'm trying to map the astronomy-related "points of
interest" along the route. So far, we've included the Palomar
observatory, and Mt. Wilson observatory; the Owens valley
radio observatory seems to have restricted access.
Do you have any other ideas and/or favorite places down there?
I'll appreciate if you can give me any helpful tips regarding
visiting those and other places (driving conditions, what is worth
seeing, and what is not, etc.).
