Atlas cases makes several in that size

http://www.atlascases.com/molded.html#molded

I think mine was the SC1818-18 which measures 18 3/4 X 18 3/4 X 18.
These are >>internal<< dimensions so the case was right at the limits when
measured on the outside. If anyone cares I can check for sure.

The Ray Cash scope (Steve mentioned your name, but I forgot) used the scope
itself for the case. The poles were shipped in a separate container. Nice
scope by the way.

So I guess the answer to my question is that one needs a custom built wooden
box to check the scope in? It would be nice if Pelican or Doskocil or
someone made a standard case that was 20x20x20 or so on the exterior.
