it rained all day here Friday and is showering on and off today (sat).
it's not like you missed out on any observing opportunity except for the El Nino Nebula, which is visible here even during the daytime.

Funny thing how the weather works. Los Angeles has had decent weather all week. So when I drove down here to visit family this weekend I brought my scope hoping to do a little observing. Well, the clouds rolled in on Friday and stayed. Bummer.
It was a great plan though.
