Each of the 65 x 2min integrations were "developed" as follows:
1. Preprocess (apply bias, dark, flat) in IRIS.
2. Convert CFA to RGB in IRIS.
3. Register (align) on the comet in IRIS.
4. Crop to the intersection of all the registered frames in IRIS.
5. Color balance, ASINH stretching, and 4x4 "binning" in my own little
program that I wrote.
6. Normalize the offset (background level) in IRIS.
7. Convert to BMP in IRIS.
Then, import those 65 BMPs as stills into Adobe Premiere and 'export'
the result as a Windows AVI.
(I had to use my own li'l program for #3 because the IRIS "black", "RGB
Balance", and "asinh" functions apply only to a single image, not to a
sequence of images.)
Hope this isn't too off-topic for the non-imaging version of TAC.
