Well, I'm probably biting off more than I can chew, but...
I got a long night's sleep last night, but it's killing me to think of
letting tonight's wonderful sky go to waste. I'm planning on trying the
marathon at Coe tonight. I've been wanting to do one for a long time, and
I'll bet that we'll have a small-ish crowd tonight, at least compared to
Saturday.
Additionally, I have a spot at the FPOA pads reserved for tomorrow night.
If I have any energy left after the marathon, I'll go down to the Pads on
Saturday night and observe there, too.
I was thinking of reserving a campsite at the Peak, and just driving from
Coe to the Peak, snoozing during the afternoon, and then observing at the
Pads. Not sure if want to go to the trouble of hauling the camping gear
around, though, and there's the usual difficulty of trying to sleep in a
tent during the afternoon. Plus, no net savings, money-wise. I suspect that
I'll just drive home from Coe, snooze in the air conditioning, and then
head for the Peak.
