Steve - The listing I see shows IC 405 as the Flaming Star Nebula. The
one that comes to mind as being easier (for me anyway) is IC 410, which is
graphically not far away in the sky. While IC 405 always shows to me as a
low-contrast object, IC 410 is typically quite a bit easier and more
detailed. Both require filters for best viewing (O-III if I recall
correctly). I have not yet consulted a star chart to confirm these
positions, rather some web photos and listings.
