At Lake Sonoma, I saw the trace of one of those orbital searchlights that
come on a truck and are used to
advertise. It didn't hurt much, though.
Driving up 880, I come upon some really bad examples of LP. For instance,
the malls have very bright LED advertising signs.
Of course, there's the Coliseum, which I wish would sink into the ground,
not only because of its all-night light pollution, but
also the traffic it generates. What 880 really needs is a cover extending
half a mile to the left and right. That would also keep
down flooding :-)
