Uh-uh. No binoviewing pardner. Little chance of prime focus with a DSLR
either. You have a fine visual instrument there but for the more advanced
users we offer other products.
Keep at it and remember that there is a "sweet spot" in the field of view
when cranking away at that tuner. And give the tuner a second or two to come
into play. Small adjustments to both the tuner and position can yield some
pretty spectacular results.

Subject: [TAC] 20 min. in the Sun (was Coronado's PST)
Well the Sun shown for about 20 minutes this evening so I had short session
with the Coronado PST. I was impressed with the scope immediately.
Using the "Tuner" I was able to see very nice Prominences all around the
disk. A very large one was located at about 4 o'clock. Also seen, after
rotating the tuner, was a very long curving filament in the center of the
disk. As I rotated the tuner more I would see hints of plage then finally
sunspots. And all this with mediocre seeing!
I think this puppy will follow me to work tomorrow. :-)
Boy,if I can get my Binoviewer to work...
