In the first two photos I think the green color is the aurora. It was really hard to see with my eye, looking more like a thin cloud, though there was some wild pulsing patterns in the sky. Those shots are from around 3:00am along side Sir Francis Drake Blvd. near Olema. The first shot is facing north west, the second is roughly east (with a lot of light low in the sky from the Bay Area).
The last three were shot in my backyard, in the middle of SF around 4:00am. The sky looked dark purple to my eye and I saw a few more pulses.
