Michelle -
Thank you for posting the encouraging note from your Assemblyman. And thank
you for bringing the issue to his attention. I concur that more of us
should be actively communicating with our elected representatives about our
concerns for maintaining park facilities and for re-aquiring dark skies
under which to observe.
As far as party affiliation is concerned, personally I've abandoned any
attempts at distinguishing the qualities of political acumen based on the
current party system. The significant reality, it seems to me, is what
individual politicians are willing to do, rather than to say, about issues
of concern to their constituency.
Good work, Michelle. I'm looking forward to attending the next Plettstone
Weekend. Sounds like a good time was had by all.
John
