    Hi all,

Sky & Telescope is raising their subscription prices. Retail price for
one year is going up from $39.95 to $42.95.

But, you TACOs, the lucky few, still have a chance to beat the price
increase. As members of a <c-word>, we can enjoy a discount price to
both Sky & Telescope and Astronomy magazines. And Sky & Tel is giving
us a grace period at the old price...

Until September 1, subscriptions for our merry band are still $29.95.
After Sept. 1, our discount price goes up to $32.95. This grace period
applies to both new subscriptions and renewals.

So if you are sitting on that renewal notice, send it to me now. And
if you've been waffling about subscribing, waffle no longer. It'll
cost you $3 if you wait.

(Astronomy magazine has not announced a price increase, to my
knowledge. But I wouldn't be too surprised if they did.)

The fine print: new subscriptions at these rates are restricted to San
Francisco Bay area TACOs only; renewals are grandfathered in, no
matter where you live in the U.S.

Any questions? Need more info? Comments or flames? Then EMail me at
rljtac at yahoo dot com. Don't reply to the whole list, unless you
    have something interesting to all.

    Clear skies and best regards...
Your TAC Magazine Dude, Bob J.
