An older, shorter and easier list would be Ptolemy's: M44, the Double
Cluster in Per, the Coma star cluster, and M7 aka Ptolemy's Cluster.
All easy with binos and possible with unaided eye (Ptolemy lived about
1500 years before optics :-)
