In the past I have tried to correlate the seeing to the jetstream. I noticed
that when I looked at the map this morning the Jetstream was way north, up
in Oregon. The data on the map was for about midnight Tuesday.

What I found interesting was the wind vectors over the bay area. They are
pointing in lots of different directions. I guess that is why the air is so
stirred up. Other perspectives?
