About 6 months ago I showed up at Coe and realized that I had forgotten the little tiny tip that plugs into my laptop and connects to my universal power supply... one of those things that you get in a bag when you buy a Radio Shack supply.
Hopelessly, I ask the crowd in the falling dark if anyone had one, and YES! Someone did! I borrowed it, and returned it at the end of the night.
So, after a successful night, I completely forgot about the incident.
And the very next time out, forgot the very same 5 cent piece of gear! That time, noone had a spare :-(

Well, there was that time at Bumpass that we were trying to solder up an ST-4
cable in fading twilight because you'd forgotten some kind of adapter
cable...:)
