I've managed to forget nearly every part of my scope at one time
or another. Last year, at Shingletown, I woke up early on Thursday
morning and realized I had left my nicely packed bag of clothes at
home in the Bay Area. I drove back to San Jose, picked up my
clothes and was back in Shingletown before dinner. At least it was
a nice cool drive with my AC running. We were in the middle of a
heat wave
