Mine are copper-plated, and right now they are double-bagged.
So I think they're okay for the near future. But I will keep
an eye on them. Thanks for the advice.
When I suggested lead, Jane Houston Jones wrote me in email
to say that she got complaints from people about the lead
weights on her Dobson solar scope - it's poisonous. Like
most things in life, it's a tradeoff.
