Life was good until around 9:15, when old Mr. Marine Layer hit the critical
temp. and the seeing went bad. But before that, life was good! Jupiter in the
8" f 12,5 refractor was sharp. Watched a moon occulted, saw a shockwave rock
the planet, followed instantly by another, making it ripple like waves on the
ocean. I looked up to see that a commercial jetliner had passed close by. It
was jetwash!
Well, that's what I get for living on the coast, below the inversion layer.
Much better than last week, though!
