    You already have one of the hardest objects on the short list, but the
    UKS-1 globular sounds like a worthy follow up. It's the faintest
    globular in the Milky Way, heavily redshifted by dust. One of the
    only known visual observations required a 36 inch scope and very
    steady skies.
