I'd prefer the extra hour on Saturday night, but can only get out on
Friday this weekend. Four and a half dark hours on Friday should
still make a good deep sky night. After the moon comes up Friday, a
transit of Io begins on Jupiter, followed by an Io shadow transit,
with the GRS not too far behind. I'll probably head to Fremont Peak
Friday night for a mixture of deep sky targets followed by planetary
viewing.
