Hi Christopher,
Jim and I were both using Coronado H-Alpha filters. They show a lot of
detail both on the surface and around the perimeter. And the "T-MAX" ring
behind the primary etalon lets you tilt the filter giving you a view much
like that of a white light filter where you can isolate spots and
granularity.
So we saw spots as well as a lot of other activity and this really big event
I described in my first message.
