Bob, I don't know if you'd want the Epics or not - I have one (5.1 mm)
and like it OK, but I think of them as a sort of poor-man's copy of
a Radian. Not bad, and decent eye relief, but off-axis pright objects
like Jupiter can cause internal reflections.
For deep-sky (like zooming in on a PN or splitting a tight double) I think
they're pretty good, especially for the money. But not quite up to a
Radian or Pentax XL.
